Meet Papa Bear

Hi, I’m Barry Christian, but around here I go by Papa and "Bear" is a nickname my grandmother used for me that just stuck.

I started Papa Bear – Handyman because I enjoy fixing things, helping people feel comfortable in their homes, and doing the kinds of jobs that bigger companies often don’t want to bother with.

When you invite me into your home, you’re getting:

• A friendly, experienced handyman who treats your home with respect
• Straight talk and no pressure
• Work done as if I were doing it for my own family

The “Papa Bear” name also reminds me of the care and hard work I saw in my own father, and I try to bring that same spirit into every job I do. He taught me how to do so much of it himself, and I’m proud to carry on that legacy. He taught me something even more important though. He taught me dilligence, dogged determination to get things done, and to love people.
